I've been working out with Hal for 7 years. With his help I've returned to a level of strength and fitness I haven't seen since my college football years. I think what sets Hal apart from the other trainers I've worked with is his constant effort to further his education. He works hard to improve his understanding of physiology and biokinetics. Hals approach to training pulls in aspects of several workout disciplines, including strength training, pilates, plyometrics, and yoga. I've been working with Hal for a year and a half, my first and only trainer at my advanced age (58). Besides always being reliable and punctual, Hal is courteous and gives me my moneys worth. He understands my limitations and respects them. I've never had the least bit of worry that I would overextend myself and end up injured. Hal is well educated, intelligent, intuitive, creative, fun, witty, diligent, diverse, and kind in his work as a personal trainer. Two years ago when I turned 40, I decided it was time to get in better shape for the next phase of life. I had joined gyms in the past and gone to workout and lost interest quickly - not sure exactly what to do and did not have time to research how to obtain my goal. I decided the only way to achieve my fitness goals was to hire a personal trainer. I did some research online and decided to try Hal. I work long hours six days a week in a very hectic and physical environment and the couple of hours I spend with Hal are the most rewarding. I feel stronger and healthier than I have ever felt. I continue to workout with Hal and he has given me the confidence to get back to the gym on my own a couple of times a week.
